Darcie Kanouse, SSUP, Silverdale, Washington
Darcie Kanouse says "I LOVE my direct sales career! Being a Sensaria business owner allows me the opportunity to raise our three sons while providing a professional income for my family.
Fifteen years ago, I left a teaching career when I was pregnant with our first son, and chose a career in direct sales so I could be home with our baby yet still have an income and a creative & challenging outlet. Today, I'm still living that dream by working my business around getting my 1st grader on and off the school bus every day, going on field trips with our 5th grader, and being at every sporting event that all three boys are actively involved in. To be there for my boys while making an income that pays our mortgage and car payment every month is very gratifying!
The decision to be a Sensaria business-owner has not only been a blessing for our family ~ but for me as well. The personal & professional growth I've experienced through the training and support that our company offers is amazing. And my dearest friends are women I've met on my Sensaria journey. We are truly blessed to be a part of the Sensaria family."
Cami Feek, SSUP, Olympia, WA
Cami Feek says "I remember my first spa party. One whiff of sweet and smooth and I was addicted. I had so much fun and thought, women deserve this. They deserve time with friends, relaxation and of course the fabulous Sensaria products. That was 5-½ years ago. Not only has Sensaria provided a vehicle for me to bring that fun to other women, to make a difference in their lives but it has brought so much to mine.
Since joining Sensaria I have earned 4 trips to exotic places like Acapulco, the Bahamas and Maui. My kids can’t wait for conventions each year to hear where the next Sensaria trip is. And, the biggest gift of all, for the last four years my kids have had a stay at home dad, all because of my Sensaria income.
Before Sensaria I thought I had it all, now, because of Sensaria I know what having it all really means."
Leslie Banionis, SSUP, Poulsbo, WA
Leslie La Duke Banionis is a fourth-generation native of Santa Monica, CA, who lives in Poulsbo, WA with her husband Arunas, a physician and lieutenant colonel in the Air Force Reserves, two sons Adam and Michael, one daughter Ava, two dogs Daina and Zaibas and twenty-six chickens. She grew up summering on Stretch Island in Mason County every year of her childhood on a property owned by her family since the turn of the last century. She lived on the island of Djurgarden in Stockholm, Sweden, Vance AFB in Enid, Oklahoma, and Vancouver, WA, before moving to Poulsbo.
She keeps mason bees, maintains an orchard of cherry trees, grows alpine strawberries, herbs, augustifolia lavender, oriental lilies, tree peonies, and heirloom old garden roses. The acres of forest behind her home contain trails planted with bluebells, narcissus, crocus, snowdrops, hyacinths and evergreen ferns. Leslie picks fruit and makes jam every summer from strawberries, raspberries, apricots, cherries, plums and blackberries.
She tithes time, talent and treasure to charities such as Stella Maris Women's Shelter, Society of St. Vincent de Paul and Our Lady Star of the Sea Catholic Church and School. Leslie has a passion for fundraisers; her business model is one that gifts 100% of her commission to worthy causes such as the American Heart Association, which will receive $1,000 from her business on St. Valentine's Day.
Leslie's first experience with our products was when she was in her twenties and purchased Natural Bodycare shampoo from her local co-op. Every year that she returned home to visit her family, she would buy a case of shampoo and ship it home. One year the product was not available, because the company was closing down production. Years later, after moving to Poulsbo, Leslie attended several spas before she "discovered" that her long-lost favorite shampoo was made by Sensaria.
She signed a contract last July, and six months later, has successfully promoted to advisor. Leslie is one new advisor who embodies what the theme "heart to heart" means to all of us at Sensaria who give from the bottom of our hearts every day. Leslie knows what it means to "love and believe in yourself" and it shows. Congratulations, Leslie!
